An update on my journey back to the land of size 34 pants...
I'm down 10 pounds, which is halfway to my goal (see here). That leaves me with another 10 to lose and 74 days to do it. The problem is that I've been there for several weeks now. I lose a couple and gain a couple and hang right in the same area. I've hit the point of weight loss where there are no more "easy pounds" to lose. That means I may have to actually go on a diet. So far I've avoided that. I've been able to lose just by cutting back on snacks and logging the running miles. But I've struggled with two areas: skipping runs and late-night eating (as Taco Bell calls it, "the 4th meal"). If I could cut out those two things I think I'd be on my way. Of course Thanksgiving looms in the distance, as do all those holiday parties.

Great job Russ. I am working on losing the weight I gained over the last couple of weeks traveling to Chattanooga, it looks like Kim's dad is going to pass away in the next few days or weeks, I will be going back this weekend. It is tough to eat welll and exercise on the road, but I am working on it.
We are pumped to see you guys in Memphis, where are you staying? We are in the Hampton downtown.
We're staying at the Watson Family Inn in Collierville...
